A Christian citizens' movement founded in 1974, Bread for the World lobbies the US Congress and the US administration to bring about public policy changes that address the root causes of hunger and poverty in the United States and overseas. - UN Millennium Project
The UN Millennium Project is an independent advisory body commissioned by the UN Secretary-General to advise the UN on strategies for achieving the Millennium Development Goals, the set of internationally agreed upon targets for reducing poverty, hunger, disease, illiteracy, environmental degradation and discrimination against women by 2015. - Alliance to End Hunger
The Alliance to End Hunger strives to engage diverse institutions more deeply in an effort to win the shifts in US public opinion, institutions and policy that could reduce hunger in the United States and internationally. The Alliance includes religious bodies, businesses, universities, civil rights groups, labor unions and others. Anti-hunger organizations in the US have released "A Blueprint to End Hunger", a working document, based on the principles outlined in the Millennium Declaration, which outlines the actions needed to end hunger in America.
